So, apparently, a few years ago, many news outlets deemed certain Danish cartoons depicting Mohammed so potentially offensive, they refused to republish them.
But now it's okay to publish an image of a mortally wounded soldier against the family's wishes.
Gotcha.

The first situation regarded a cartoon -- an act of creative graphic art intended to incite a response and provide commentary.
The second situation regarded a photograph of something that actually happened.
I don't see a double standard. I see two standards for two separate situations.
