Oh, and Caesar's Palace is freakin' huge.
Posted by Ryan at September 11, 2006 04:58 PM | TrackBackBut have you tried one of those two dollar steaks yet? Are they good?
Posted by: Joshua at September 14, 2006 12:56 PMNo $2 steaks. It was pretty much expo floor complimentary fare for me, which was really quite good, considering it's free expo floor food.
No whoring though. I really thought I'd do more of that.
Posted by: Ryan at September 14, 2006 03:18 PMDude, I was there the same time you were, had I known, I'd have bought you a steak.
I didn't win anything either, we stayed at the TI, which has changed it's pirate show in the front, and it is now totally cheesy.
Didn't get into CP though, and usually I do, just to check out the stores.
Dammit, wish I'd known, didn't snap.
I didn't screw any whores either, so don't feel bad. I did see a shitload of those cards though, (advertising different chicks you could call). You know what really bugged me though? All those little booths with people wanting you to go check out the new condo's they are building and/or the new casinos. It's like the time shares in MX, it's crazy, and a pain in the ass.
Other than that, I did alot of spa, walking, gambling and shopping, not in that order.
It's a crazy town eh?
Crazy is one way to put it, Donna. I walked by the TI pirate ship show Monday night. It drew an insane crowd. I had to climb over the rope to get to the uncrowded sidewalk below. As I walked by, I heard weird singing and stuff and I thought "that's not the way it was in 'Ms. Congeniality 2,'" so it explains a lot now that you told me that.
Although I left CP at -$30, my flight was delayed, so I spent some time at the LV airport gambling, and holy shit I couldn't lose. I ended up winning $125 playing "Wheel of Fortune" slots. So, overall, I left LV heavier in the pocket. Suh-weet.
Posted by: Ryan at September 14, 2006 09:24 PMDammit, that was the only place I didn't play! We left Wed also, but I'd just gotten word that they'd taken my mom to the hospital, 1 day, an angiogram, angioplasty, and a stint later, her heart that was 90% blocked is better. I was the freak with the blue tooth by the c gates wandering around (looking hot, lol, jk), yapping, and looking worried. This was around 11, give or take an hour cuz we got there so early.
Damn, we saw the show on Tuesday night, Monday I was deep in the spa.
The only other thing I wanted to see that I didn't get a chance to was the wax museum at the venetian, but there's always next month or two. My son is living there now, so I can always go visit, it's quite the excuse!
Dude, did you just admit to watching Miss Congeniality 2?
Posted by: DG at September 15, 2006 02:21 PMHey, when the girlfriend has control of the remote, I don't have much say in the matter. You'd be amazed (or sickened) by the amount of crap I've had to watch because of her poor choice in television viewing.
Posted by: Ryan at September 15, 2006 02:36 PMYeah, whatever. Don't you have a meeting of the Ya-Ya sisterhood to get to?
