Balls. . . BIG ONES

You can call him Chimpy McBushHitler. You can laugh at his mistalkeratings. You can hate him with every fiber of your being, should you so wish. But, you have to admit one thing: when the man retires at night and slips off his pants, he simply must have the biggest, brassiest, gargantuan-sized balls on the planet.

Dark Knight. Heath Ledger. Batman. The Joker. Dark Knight. Heath Ledger. Batman. The Joker. Dark Knight. Heath Ledger. Batman. The Joker.

What I find most amazing is that he continues to surprise people with this (myself included). EVERY time people think he's going to knuckle under and do the what his opponents want, he steps up and knocks their dicks in the dirt.

You can always tell a Bush, you just can't tell him much because he already knows everything there is to know about everything.

See, he's got 51% of the country behind him and that gives him the stones to do any damned thing he pleases.

Well, I thought the Democratic stonewalling for five months over Bolton was overkill, but I didn't think Bush would do a recess appointment because now, in retribution, you can bet they're going to go over Roberts with an even finer-toothed comb.

I dunno, it seems like saying "to hell with the consequences" is a lot ballsier when one has some reason to believe there might actually be consequences. At this point beating up on the Democrats takes about as much balls as beating up on a quadraplegic eight-year-old.

The basic problem is that Washington works on an ivory tower style debate structure. Bush works like a business CEO. He just did the same run-around that any corporate Pres would have done if the Board of Directors was screwing him over.

For Bolton this is bad - he'll never get a confirmed appointment now. Then again, I imagine that he and Bush are more concerned with doing a job RIGHT NOW than they are with what Bolton will be doing for a living in a couple of years.

Anyway, he's always got the greatest hits albums to fall back on.
