Breast effect

Heh, over 800 visitors to this site today already, and it's not even noon yet. Tara Reid's breasts are apparently still a hot commodity on the Internet today.

My favorite part:

I would post more about things on the right with which I don’t agree – and there are many – but they don’t irritate me as much as stubborn obtuseness about the nature of the Threat.

Ah yes, the Threat. Not unlike the Enemy Who Never Sleeps.

Lileks is full of contempt for some gwat whose contempt for conservatives is sprung out of biological determinism, but anyone who doesn't agree with him that "Islamofascism" is a capitol T threat-- or that the threat can best be dealt with by invading Iraq --is just being stubbornly obtuse.

I was reading a book by Robert Mcnamara the other day where he basically says in the introduction that the political assumptions that initiated US involvement in Vietnam were completely mistaken. And yet even now, all these years later, lots of people who supported that war insist it was necessary and appropriate-- in spite of the protestations of the man most directly responsible for starting it.

I've always found that to be a curious conceit.

For my part, Joshua, I was most amused that the target of Lilek's ire was so determined to figure out why conservatives are so "stupid," that he decided it had to lay in some genetic rationale. Jeezum crow.

Looked like a battle between Blowhard and Blowharder to me. Although I thought the bee attack line was pretty funny.

Although I thought the bee attack line was pretty funny.

Yeah, that was good.
