Posted by: Keith at June 7, 2005 11:44 AMsome of those points are definitely valid, but i still prefer my mac. i find the difference in user preference seems to be that for people who like to be able to manually control every. single. function, they like PCs better because of the bazillion control panel options and ability to set every single preference. for some of us who don't like clicking through hundreds of menus to find something or get something done, macs are more friendly.
it's basically the difference between an automatic and manual camera, imo.
that said, i have both.
Posted by: leblanc at June 7, 2005 02:33 PMI can't watch it at work but will try to watch it tonight (on my wife's PC since I don't do Windows Media Player on my pristine MS-free Powerbook) but I'd echo leblanc's comments above. Although, with OS X, it is possible to control an awful lot more of the minutiae.
As an aside, it took my wife and I three days to figure out how to make the XP windows look and behave like the Win2000 windows, one stupid little radio box in a very unlikely place.
