Just Get It Over With

Can we vote yet? Can we go and get this election thing over with already? At this point, I'm burned out. I don't think I can take any more.

I'm tired of George W. Bush. I'm tired of John Kerry. I'm tired of political nitpickery. I'm tired of Democrats. I'm tired of Republicans. I'm tired of "undecideds." I'm tired of polls. I'm tired of Michael Moore. I. Just. Can't. TAKE IT ANY MORE.

I think the reason this nation traditionally has such low voter turnout is because people just get so burnt out, they simply can't drag themselves to the polls for one last dose of election.

I'll make it out to vote on Nov. 2 but, man, after that, I think I'll sleep for about a month.

No kidding. If nothing else, I just want to know who won. Just have it fucking over with.

I've already decided I'm gonna take the 3rd as a sick day.

I'll be voting for the hardscrabble man-of-the-people. He understands the little guys. Yep.

I'm in agreement but it won't stop for a little longer now. We're almost there, just a few more weeks of smear and deception.

Try being in an Argumentation & Debate class this semester. ALL we talk about is the election & the debates & the candidates & their families & Iraq & Bin Laden & taxes & healthcare & education & on & on. Apparently the professor feels that what is on television & the Internet is not quite enough to make us hate this election. Oh wait, I forgot the part where we have to dissect each debate & do a paper on it. Our final is an actual debate over one of the policy issues from this election so I won't even be saved once November 3rd rolls around. I get another month to analyze THE SAME SHIT we have been hearing for the past 6 months.

That is why you need to do Absentee ballot. I got mine in the mail last week, going to fill it out this weekend and then I can just drown out all the election noise.

I get to vote for the very first time in my life in the upcoming election, and this is the shit I have to put up with?

Sigh. I hate politics.

I got an email from a Bush campaign worker (I got on the list when I signed up for a yard sign) that said you can go vote early in Woodbury all this week from 8-4:30 or monday the 1st as well. So, call your city and see if you can vote this week! Apparently you can in Woodbury. The email said to call and ask about 'early voting'.
